Low-cost loans and grants available for sewer repairs

As a step toward improving the operation of our infrastructure and protecting our local environment, Almonte Sanitary District is offering low-cost loans and grants to fund the repair of private "laterals" (sewer lines on private property which connect homes and businesses to ASD main sewer lines). These loans and grants are being offered to qualified residents in conjunction with the Sewerage Agency of Southern Marin (SASM).  The details of this program will be posted soon, or you can get more information by directly contacting SASM or ASD.  Shredding, medical waste services now available.

Almonte Sanitary District (ASD) and Tamalpais Community Services District (TCSD) have reached an agreement whereby the residents of the Almonte neighborhood may now afford themselves of new services that were previously unavailable in Almonte. Almonte residents may use the document shredding and medical waste disposal services that are provided by TCSD. For document shredding and medical waste disposal, Almonte residents may take their items to the TCSD yard at 305 Bell Lane for drop-off.

TCSD's normal business hours are 8:00-4:30, Monday-Friday (except holidays). Their yard/offices are located at 305 Bell Lane, near the Tam Valley School. TCSD is a joint-member, with ASD, of the Sewerage Agency of Southern Marin (SASM).
